Angela Denise (Kirby) Colton Mawhinney

Angela Denise Mawhinney, age 56, of Baker City, Oregon, went to be with her lord and savior on September 19, 2022. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Baker City Christian Church, with Pastor Jesse Whitford officiating.
Angie was born to Charles "Dick" And Gayle Kirby in Baker, Oregon, on April 28, 1966, and grew up in Durkee and Baker. She lived in Burley, Idaho, during high school before moving back to Baker.
She gave birth to her first daughter Ashley in 1985. She later married Steven Colton and gave birth to her second daughter Jessica in 1991. She loved mushrooming, cross-stitch, her animals, spending time with family and friends, and helping anyone in need. Most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren.
Angie is preceded in death by her daughter Ashley Colton and father, Dick Kirby.

She is survived by Mother Gayle Steele, daughter Jessica Colton, granddaughters Eve McInnes, Aris McInnes, and grandson Parker Colton. Angie is also survived by her sister Stacey (Kevin) Tatlock; brother Rich (Stefanie) Kirby; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and family that loved her and will miss her
Through all her trials and tribulations, she never wavered in her faith; it only strengthened her faith in God.
Angie was happiest when she was helping others.
