Bernell Marie Howland, 67, of Baker City passed away in her home January 22, 2016. A funeral service was held on Thursday January 28, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Baker City at 1:00 PM, with Bishop Tim Taylor officiating. Bernell was born January 6, 1949, to Bernard D. Mc Kown and Edith Vivian Stites in Albany, California. She was a proud homemaker and enjoyed being a member of the Cascade Athletic Club, The Salvation Army, and the LDS Church. She is survived by her husband Walter Howland of Baker City, OR and her daughter Tiffany Glendening of Morrilton, Arkansas.
