Ilene Loucile Storm, 73, passed away at home in Beaverton, Oregon on June 26, 2017. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Baker City, Oregon with Pastor Jesse Whitford of the Baker City Christian Church officiating the service.\n\nIlene was born in Baker City on August 29, 1943 to Marion (Louis) Duncan and Geneva (Blize) Duncan. She graduated high school from Baker High in 1961.\n\nIlene married Charles Storm in 1962. In 1970 the family moved to the San Francisco Bay area. Ilene loved to visit the beaches around Carmel and Monterey, the museums, and the mountains around Sonora. In 1976 the family moved to the Portland area. She loved camping and fishing and was always the first one to the water and the last one to leave. She was always going with the family on the hunting trips because she loved to camp in the mountains. Ilene cherished trips to the beach because she could walk for hours and watch storms come in. She enjoyed the holidays; decorating the house, and cooking for her family.\n\nIlene will be greatly missed by all who knew her.\n\nShe is survived by her husband Charles Storm of Beaverton, Oregon, her daughter Tracey Buntyn and son-in-law Roy Buntyn of Llano, Texas, her son Ron Storm and daughter-in-law Cindy of McMinnville, Oregon, her brother Jerry Duncan and his wife Sue of Halfway, Oregon, and her brother Tommy Duncan of Haines, Oregon. Ilene also leaves behind her grandchildren; Shasta Storm, Reilly Wilson, Donnie Buntyn, and Clint Buntyn as well as numerous nieces and nephews.\n\nIlene was preceded in death by her daughter Lucinda Storm, her parents, her sister Joan Long, and her niece Mary Kay Williamson.\n\nShould friends and family desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association through Gray's West & Co.
