Juanita Marie (Scott) Payne, 50, of Baker City, Oregon passed away at St. Alphonsus Medical center in Baker City on July 21, 2016. Gray's West & Co. Pioneer Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.\n\nIn Stayton, Oregon on September 17, 1965, Arthur Scott and Evelyn (Gillespie) Scott welcomed Juanita Scott into the world. As a teenager, Juanita attended high school at Cascade Senior High in Turner, Oregon. Juanita worked in the food service industry and one of her favorite past times when she was not working was to spend time with her grandchildren. She also had a knack for making people smile and always keeping them guessing.\n\nJuanita is now reunited with her son Denny Payne Jr.; her brother Ray Scott; and her parents Arthur and Evelyn.\n\nShe leaves behind her son Michael Payne of Baker City; her daughter Megan Payne of Baker City; her brother Art Scott of Baker City; her sister Rhonda Scott of Baker City; and her brother Floyd Scott of Baker City.
