Kristi Lynn Harvey, 39, formerly of Baker City passed away June 14, 2016 at her residence in Burns, OR.\n\nVisitation will be at Gray's West & Company Pioneer Chapel from 4pm to 6 pm Friday, June 17, 2016.\n\nHer funeral service will be held at First Church of the Nazarene, 1250 Hughes Lane, Baker City, on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow at the Nazarene Family Life Center. Those wishing to bring dishes are encouraged to bring either salads or desserts.\n\nKristi was born April 26, 1977 to Bill Harvey and Julie Miller. She attended Haines Elementary School, Palmer Elementary School and the Agape Christian School.\n\nShe worked as a CNA and a pharmacy tech, then started her nursing degree through night school while still working. After 3 years as a full time student she graduated with a 3.98 from Eastern OR University and OHSU with her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.\n\nKristi was an exceptional registered nurse as was evident in the following description of her by a colleague: "Kristi treats her patients with the greatest respect. She goes above, and beyond, to support the highest levels of comfort and care. Kristi is a skilled nurse who has a special ability to approach emergencies with calmness and efficiency that is reassuring for the patient and their families. She has rapidly become a leader and is a strong member of the nursing team!"\n\nKristi loved her children, her family and her savior, Jesus. She also loved the outdoors, branding, four-wheeling, hiking, wood cutting, mushrooming and berry picking.\n\nKristi was preceded in death by her Grandpa Alvin Culley, great grandmothers, Melvina Topliff and Phoebee Lyons, cousins, Ryan Culley and Danny Mann.\n\nShe is survived by her children, Sierra, Kyler and Austin DeVore, her father and stepmother, Bill and Lorrie Harvey, her mother and stepfather, Julie and Terry Miller, brothers, Bill Harvey, Jr. and Nathan Miller and his wife Shoshanna, sisters, Andrea Lucas and Nicole Landstrom, grandmothers, Pat Culley and Nancy Schmauderer, the Love of her Life, Terry Carroll, as well as many aunts, uncles and extended family.
