Nira Campbell

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nira, who left us on December 1, 2024, at the age of 48. Nira was a shining light in the lives of everyone she touched. Known for her sense of humor and love for adventure, she brought warmth and joy to family and friends alike.

Nira loved spending time with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors. She had a gift for advocating for children and their families in her work as school counselor. She valued learning for people of all ages, and was dedicated to her own growth as a professional educator.

Though her time with us was far too short, Nira lived a life filled with love, purpose, and beauty. She is survived by her dear friend and partner, Ken Nelson, her step-parents, Lyla and Jerry Meyer, her brothers, Kyle (Taylor), and Max (Brittany) Campbell, Patrick (Reece), and Zach (Jaeleesa) Meyer, nieces, Indiana and Thistle, and nephews, Bear, Jeremiah, Remington, Zander, and Hamilton. All will hold her memory close as a source of comfort and inspiration.

A gathering celebrating Nira's life is yet to be determined. Contributions in memory of Nira can be made to Riki's Room, a fund providing qualifying students in North Powder School with coats, shoes, and other necessities.
