ShaRee Carlson Serr, January 7, 1962 – September 3, 2026, passed away, deeply loved and cherished by her family, leaving behind a life defined by her devoted service to others.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), ShaRee worked across multiple nursing homes throughout her career. She poured her heart into her work, consistently showing profound love, compassion, and commitment to every resident and colleague she came in contact with.
Some of her most cherished roots began in her childhood, where she loved to go out on the boat fishing with her dad as well as going camping. She also held fond memories of gardening alongside Grandma Carlson, carefully tending to their plants and enthusiastically entering their hard work into the local fair.
Outside of her calling in nursing, ShaRee found peace and joy in the simple beauties of life. She loved going to the beach, where she could often be found walking up and down the shore looking for sand dollars and treasured shells. Her vibrant creativity shone through her deep love for crafts and everything it entailed. Whether she was working on intricate diamond art, making jewelry, or patiently refinishing furniture, she found immense fulfillment in creating things.
ShaRee deeply treasured her family, and spoiling her grandkids and great-grandkids was one of her greatest joys. She truly lived to see the smiles on their faces and cherished every moment of family time, whether it was spent celebrating major holidays or enjoying simple, regular visits.
Above all, ShaRee's absolute favorite thing to do was spending time with Karl. She cherished the precious times she could get away from work and go home to Sumpter to just be in the moment with him and their dog, Buddy—whether they were happily watching movies together or making plans for the month ahead.
ShaRee is survived by her beloved husband, George Karl Serr; her sisters, Aubrey Howell and Mary Kim Williams; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She is also survived by her loving children through marriage, George Karl Camron Serr and his wife, Ashley, and Kassandra Sizemore and her husband, James; grandchildren, Maddison Newbry, George Serr, Eevie Serr, Kiree Spencer and her husband, Brandon, Dominic Woodward, Zachary Sizemore, Michael Sizemore, Asa Sizemore, and Thorin Sizemore; and great-grandchildren, Hazel Spencer, Athena Spencer, and Zenith Spencer.
ShaRee was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Troy (Mary), and her brother, Tommy.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Parker Cemetery in Parker, Idaho.
