Zan Harris Zickgraf passed away peacefully in her sleep of natural causes at her son’s home in Baker City, Oregon, on September 28, 2026, at the age of 67.
Born on May 11, 1959, in Soda Springs, Idaho, she was the only daughter of McGee and Janet Harris. Throughout her life, she was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While attending Brigham Young University, Zan met Wayne Zickgraf, whom she later married. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on December 1, 1978.
She served diligently in many Church callings throughout her life, including Primary President, Relief Society President, and Seminary Teacher, and her most favorite calling, Primary Pianist.
Zan lived life to its fullest. She paired a strong work ethic with a love for life and a thirst for discovery. She loved adventure and wasn’t afraid of trying something new. Yet she also possessed a deeply refined side, with a love of music, reading, baking, decorating, and creating beautiful things.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Wayne; her children, Derek, Adam, Carson, Weston, and Micaela, along with their partners and spouses; and her 17 grandchildren, who adored their grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, McGee Harris.
A private family viewing was held on October 2, 2026, in Baker City, Oregon. Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate her remarkable life at a memorial service on October 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the LDS Chapel at 2212 E. Amity Ave., Nampa, Idaho.
